ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1900 sheriff badge from Columbia County, New York. The badge shows the seal of the State of New York and is named to M. V. Saulpaugh.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1900.

SIZE:

1-1/2" height and 2-5/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enameled lettering.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with forked locking catch.
