SUBJECT: This is a circa 1930s H. P. Hood & Sons thirty years of service hat badge for a milk deliveryman. Hood began manufacturing dairy products in 1846 in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The badge claims that the wearer is part of the Quarter Century Club and shows a great cow head.
VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.
SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16 in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Plated brass with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with drop-on locking swivel catch.
