ARTIFACT: This is a great S. S. Pierce Company delivery truck driver hat badge. S.S. Pierce Co. was a major grocer and supplier for over a century. The badge shows an eagle and three lions and reads S.S.P. CO. PURITAS ET CURA ESTABLISHED 1831 INCORPORATED 1894.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: 1-13/16" height and 3-1/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with blue enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two single screw pins with disc backings.

MARKINGS: PILGRIM BADGE BOSTON.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a manufacturing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX09

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Badge shows minimal wear and has a handsome tarnish.
