ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s – early World War II distinctive insignia for the United States Army 60th Infantry Regiment. The DI shows a cannon and a wavy line representing the Meuse River and reads TO THE UTMOST EXTENT OF OUR POWER.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s – early World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height 1-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:
