This is a 1930s-1940s one year safe driver award badge for the New York City Department of Sanitation. The badge is lapel size and shows the city seal at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.
