This is a circa 1930s employee badge for the New York City Department of Public Works. The badge was made by a New York manufacturer and is numbered 1797.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical swiveling safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:? G. CLOVER (or GLOVER) CO. NEW YORK.
