ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1930s employee badge for the New York City Department of Public Works. The badge was made by a New York manufacturer and is numbered 1797.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical swiveling safety-style pin with saddle.

MARKINGS:

? G. CLOVER (or GLOVER) CO. NEW YORK.
