This is a 1930s or 1940s award badge for two years of safe driving for the New York City Department of Sanitation. The badge is lapel size and shows the city seal at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The pin shows some light wear and tarnish and minor oxidation.
