This is a rare circa 1930s numbered cap badge for a New York City sanitation man. The badge has a nice City of New York raised seal at its center, along with hard-fired blue enamel numbers (2260).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickeled brass with hard-fired enameled numbers.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post (no backing).
MARKINGS:None.
