This is a 1920s-1930s United States Post Office postal cap badge from New York City, New York. The badge is oval in shape and is topped by an eagle with spread wings.

Circa 1920s-1930s.

2" height and 2-1/2" width.

Nickel or nickel on brass.

Two loops where hat pin would have been affixed.

"U.S. POST OFFICE NEW YORK, N.Y. / 2679 " on front and "N.C. WALTER & SONS / NEW YORK" on reverse.
