Description
This is a medal for the 1930 Mechanics of the United States Air Service reunion held in Boston, Massachusetts. The medal reads MASSACHUSETTS TERCENTENARY 1630 1930 and shows the Mayflower and a passenger. The reverse of the medal reads TERCENTENARY SOUVENIR 1630 1930 and shows a Native American in a canoe juxtaposed with an aircraft and power stations. The medal hangs form a ribbon that reads REUNION AIR SERVICE MECHANICS BOSTON, MASS. OCT. 7, 1930.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930.
SIZE:About 3-3/4" height (including ribbon) and 1-5/8" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze with silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Suspension rings joining ribbon to medal.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): This handsomely tarnished badge shows light wear and the ribbon is quite faded.
