This is a 1929 Shipyards Corporation medal for the opening of Todd Dock in Brooklyn, New York. The medal is by Dieges & Clust, and reads COMMEMORATING THE OPENING OF THE NEW TOOD DOCK DE. 7, 1929 PLANT OF ROBINS DRY DOCK & REPAIR COMPANY ERIE BASIN BROOKLYN, N.Y. on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1929.
SIZE:Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 1-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass, brass pin, silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin on bar.
