ARTIFACT: This is a 1929 Shipyards Corporation medal for the opening of Todd Dock in Brooklyn, New York. The medal is by Dieges & Clust, and reads COMMEMORATING THE OPENING OF THE NEW TOOD DOCK DE. 7, 1929 PLANT OF ROBINS DRY DOCK & REPAIR COMPANY ERIE BASIN BROOKLYN, N.Y. on reverse.

VINTAGE: Circa 1929.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/4" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold-plated brass, brass pin, silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin on bar.

MARKINGS: DIEGES & CLUST.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Medal shows small spots of light wear and tarnish.
