This is a 1st annual 1919 Aeronautical Exposition in New York medal. The medal reads FIRST ANNUAL AERONAUTICAL EXPOSITION NEW YORK MARCH 1-15, 1919 and shows the Statue of Liberty, airplanes and a winged insignia. The medal hangs from a red, white and blue striped ribbon.p>
VINTAGE:
Circa 1919.
SIZE:
3" height (including ribbon) and 1-5/8" width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Gold-plated brass medal with enamel and silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with "C' catch.
