ARTIFACT: Extremely rare Royal Aeronautical Society gold medal by A. Wyon & Co. for Aeronautical Research & Development. 1956 Award to Sir William Farren, Developer of the Avro Vulcan Bomber. The Royal Aeronautical Society began honoring outstanding achievers in the global aerospace in 1909. Since inception, honoring the world's aerospace achievers has become a permanent tradition of the Society as "the world's most prestigious and long-standing aerospace awards honoring achievement, innovation and excellence", the awards continue to be ground-breaking.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt bronze.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): A couple of lightly intrusive gold tests keep this from being mint, near mint.
