Description
This is a late 1920s United States Air Service belted pilot's tunic with a bullion pilot's wing from World War I. The cut of the jacket and its buttons date it to post-1927, and it came to us from a home in Long Island. It also has two bullion insignia, two plated brass bars and a ribbon bar.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1920s (post-1927) with WWI wing.
SIZE:No size tag: approximate size 34.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool, silk, brass, wool felt embroidered in bullion threads.
ATTACHMENT:Buttons, buckle on belt.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The tunic is in gorgeous shape with light tarnish to the bullion and some light to medium wear on the ribbon bar.
