This is a rare WWI pin-back bullion Pilot wing for the US Air Service Council with a crowned shield design which is very scarce.
VINTAGE:Circa 1917-1918.
SIZE:3-3/4" wide by 1-1/4" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bullion metal wire on felt wrapped on brass backing with brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with a "drop in" locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): Bullion is in good condition and there is minor wear to the felt, though it is very sturdy.
