Beautiful Bullion WWI Issue or Regulation US Air Service Pilot Wing

This is a World War I issue or regulation United States Air Service pilot wing. The wing is embroidered in gold and silver bullion. It has never been sewn onto a uniform.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 1-1/4" in height and 3-7/8" in width (without backing).

Wool, bullion embroidery, partial mesh backing, separate wool backing.
