This is a World War I US Air Service Pilots pin-back bullion wing.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWI.

SIZE:

About 3-3/4" in width by 1-1/16" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold bullion thread, black felt over metal plate.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with a drop-in locking catch.
