ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s chemical fire truck No. 1 badge from an unidentified fire department (L.F.D.). The badge is shaped like a Knight's cross and has a lozenge at center showing an old fire truck in relief.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s.

SIZE: 1-3/8" height and 1-3/8" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with two stabilization posts.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a fire collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VTXEX98 LEJX8/10 SEJX12/13

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Badge has some light abrasions and the right-hand corner of top arm of cross is very slightly bent.
