ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1920s-1930s captain's cap badge for J & NF Company. The badge has a full band and the insignia is a wreathed flag bearing J&NF CO. and reads CAPTAIN above.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: Insignia: 2-1/4" height and 2-3/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in gold bullion and red, white and blue silk/cotton threads with cotton backing and elastic band.

ATTACHMENT: Elastic band.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an ocean liner collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. LBAEX7/10

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Badge shows moderate wear and tarnish on the bullion.
