Description
This is a circa 1920s or 1930s employee or attendant badge for Green Mountain Lake Farms Inc. in Pawling, New York, a railway community. Green Mountain Lake Farms was the name given to the property purchased by Consolidated Edison of New York for use as a rest home for its employees until World War II: for a short time previously it had been the site of a santarium. The large badge is in a shield shape.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s-1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-5/8" in height and 2-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with tongue-style catch.
