This is a 1919 Pedersen Device 03 Springfield clip pouch stamped as being from Rock Island Arsenal (RIA) and dated 191Now a national historic landmark, Rock Island Arsenal on the Mississippi River between Iowa and Illinois is America's largest government-owned manufacturer of weaponry. The Pedersen Device was a revolutionary time-saving attachment made for the M1903 Springfield rifle.
VINTAGE:Circa 1919.
SIZE:Approximately 9-1/4" in height and 5" in width and 1-1/2" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Burlap, metal.
ATTACHMENT:Hanger, locking button clasp, cover held on by a strap on one side only.
