Circa WWI Rock Island Arsenal Police Badge

This is a circa World War I United States military police badge from Rock Island Arsenal. Now a national historic landmark, Rock Island Arsenal on the Mississippi River between Iowa and Illinois is America's largest government-owned manufacturer of weaponry. The badge reads ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 138 POLICE and shows an eagle at top.

Circa World War I.

2-1/2" height and 1-3/4" width.

Nickel-plated brass with painted letters.

Vertical safety-style pin.
