1916 Free Hospital For Women Nursing Graduation Pin

This beautiful nursing pin is made of sterling silver and is in the shape of an circle. In the center of the pin is a pierced cross with the date 1916 below. Around the outside of the pin it reads FREE HOSPITAL FOR WOMEN. This is probably from the old Brookline, Massachusetts hospital of the same name.

Circa 1916.

Approximately 3/4" in diameter.

Sterling silver with red and black enameling.

Horizontal pin-back with "drop in" style locking catch.

9- (Excellent+): The pin shows little if any signs of wear but being silver it does show a good deal of tarnish.
