Description
This beautiful nursing pin is in 10 karat gold and is in the shape of a Maltese cross with a circle at center. In the circle is a white disk with the letters WTS FOR N. Around the circle it reads TRAINED NURSE 191I do not know where the "WT" School for Nurses is/was located. The pin is engraved on the back with the name of the original recipient: Mary Kirk.
VINTAGE:Circa 1916.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in width by 1-1/16" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:10 karat gold with blue, white, and black enameling.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin-back with "drop in" style locking catch.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The pin shows minor wear and tarnish and some light crazing to the enameled center.
