ARTIFACT:
This beautiful nursing pin is made of 14 karat gold and is in the shape of a Maltese cross. In the center of the pin are the Latin words NON NOBIS SOLUM. Around these words it reads ALTA BATES HOSPITAL BERKELEY CALIFORNIA. The pin is engraved on the back with the name of the original recipient and her year of graduation: EUTHELLUS WELBON 1934. Once married, apparently Miss Welbon scratched her married name ROSS onto the back as well!

Approx. 21/32" in width by 21/32" in height.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
14 karat gold with black enameling.

Horizontal pin with Tiffany-style locking catch.
