ARTIFACT:
This beautiful nursing pin is made of 14 karat gold and is in the shape of a cross. In the center of the pin are the initials of the hospital (NH in old English lettering). Unfortunately, I do not know which hospital the "N" stands for, or if it is even from New Hampshire College. Engraved on the reverse of the pin are the name of the original recipient and her year of graduation. It reads: Virginia G. Fisher 1944.

22 mm by 22 mm.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
14 karat gold.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal pin with "drop-in" style locking catch.
