1873 Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Nurse Graduation Pin in 14K

This is a circa 1873 Massachusetts General Hospital nurse graduation pin. Mass General is the third oldest hospital in the nation, and was established in 181The pin is in wafer-thin enameled 14 karat gold and shows the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in relief at its center.

Circa 1873.

Approximately 1-1/8" in diameter.

14 karat gold, enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
