ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1900 agent or official badge for the Rankin, Pennsylvania Health Board. Rankin is a Pittsburgh suburb, and the badge has a Pittsburgh maker mark on reverse. The badge is in a cut-out circle star design.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1900.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS:
