Great 1900's – 1910's Chicago Daily News Official Newsboy badge with great S.D. Childs & Co. maker mark. The center of the five-point star badge shows the number "3039" and surrounding it reads: "CHICAGO DAILY NEWS OFFICIAL NEWSBOY" in black painted detail. The maker's mark on the reverse reads: "S.D. CHILDS & CO ENGRAVERS CHICAGO".

Circa 1900's - 1910's.

Approximately 2-5/8" x 2-5/8".

Nickeled nickel, black paint.

Vertical safety style pin with "C" type catch.
