Description
Great circa 1900's – 1910's Minneapolis, Minnesota police badge. The center of the nickel-plated nickel badge depicts the Minneapolis City Seal applied to the badge with copper riveted construction and surrounding it reads: "MINNEAPOLIS POLICE 283", nice low number. Early example of this issue type as it originally came with a safety pin type back, which as exchanged during the period of wear to a copper, cotter type post.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, the reverse shows a period replacement of the finding (pin missing), some of the nickel-plated and black painted details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
