This is an 1899 souvenir badge from the 33rd National Encampment of the Grand Army of the Republic. The medallion shows the Liberty Bell and hangs from a bar shaped like a building, probably a representation of Independence Hall.
VINTAGE:Circa 1899.
SIZE:2-3/4" height and 1-1/2" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:SCHWAAB S. & S. CO. MILWAUKEE with rising sun maker's mark on both bar and medallion.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): Medal shows a few spots of medium wear but has a lovely brilliance.
