Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1890s CD 145 glass insulator in green glass. The insulator has an embossed star mark near the bottom and its original cloth-wrapped telegraph wire.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1890's.

SIZE:

Approximately 3" in diameter (at bottom) x 4-3/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Glass, cloth-wrapped telegraph wire.

ATTACHMENT:

To be screwed onto a telegraph pole.

MARKINGS:

Embossed star mark.
