ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1890s Type CD 104 glass insulator for the New England Telephone & Telegraph Company, a communications company formed in 1878. It was made by Brookfield in green glass.

VINTAGE: Circa 1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in diameter (at bottom) and 3-9/16" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Glass.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: New Eng. Tel & Tel Co.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old telephone/telegraph company collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. SHOP MCX14 LBDX9/14 SBDX9/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The insulator has a few tiny chips along he bottom edge and some minor abrasions.
