ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce late 19th century Type CD 132 glass insulator in green glass. The insulator is by Hemingray Glass Company.

VINTAGE:

Circa late 19th century.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in diameter (at bottom) and 4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Glass.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

PATENT Dec. 19 1871 on front; 3 C on reverse.
