ARTIFACT: This is a 1880s-1890s YMCA Boys Branch badge. The badge is shield-shaped and has a crown with a sword through its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880s-1890s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/16" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a humanitarian collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJL93 LHEX11/10

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The badge has moderate wear and tarnish with most of the painted lettering worn away and the pin may have been resoldered.
