ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II United States Navy grouping for a convoy sailor from the USS West Point, Frederick E. Mastracci. The grouping contains a United States Naval Reserve Faithful Service medal, an American Defense medal, a World War II service medal, an Armed Forces Reserve medal, a US Naval Reserve honorable discharge pin, a US Navy honorable discharge pin, two State of Massachusetts VFW medals from the early 1960s, two ribbons bars (one with three stars) one patch, a Senior Vice Commander rank, two ID bracelets, two dog tags, a Ship's Company 945 pin, three anchor insignia, a group photograph with Mastracci at center and some miscellaneous cards and paper.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II (VFW items are early 1960s).
SIZE:
All items are various sizes.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Bracelets: both sterling silver; medals and insignia are of various materials.

Bracelets: one reads XL TRADEMARK STERLING and one reads FCC STERLING - both read FRED E. MASTRACCI 400-89-83; 1960 VFW medal: METAL ARTS CO. ROCH N.Y.; two of three anchor insignia: H&H maker's mark.
