This is a submarine model for the United States Navy USS Triton from Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The Triton sunk eleven vessels in her career and was unfortunately lost in March 1943.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:7-3/8" length and 1-5/8" height and 1-13/16" diameter (at base).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Navy collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX95 LBJJX8/10 SBJJX6/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Model has light wear and tarnish and periscope is missing.
