ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces survival guide entitled "Jungle, Desert, Arctic Emergencies". The pocket-sized book covers what to do in various emergencies encountered in the jungle, the desert, and the Arctic. Information ranges from practical advice on how to determine when to bail out of a disabled aircraft to instructions hopefully never used on how to trap a monkey. The book has several black and white illustrations.

VINTAGE: Published circa World War II.

SIZE: 149 pages; approximately 5-1/2" in height and 4-1/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The book has some moderate wear and a split in the inner spine (still intact).
