Description
This is a rare, beautiful and untouched World War II Australian-made survival knife used by the United States Army Air Forces and the Royal Air Force. This example is not marked to the USAAF, but marked and unmarked examples were issued to United States Air Crew members. This particular knife has a scabbard with the original leg straps, which is rare. The last picture (above) shows two RAF air crewmen in tropical uniform with survival knives strapped to their legs: the man on the right is wearing this knife.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 13-5/8" in length and 3" in width (sheathed).

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The blade is untouched, uncleaned and unsharpened, but shows minimal use and would clean nicely (if it were, I would rate it as 8 = Excellent). The scabbard shows storage wear, but is in excellent shape, and the straps are pliable (snap is broken).
GUARANTEE:As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
