ARTIFACT:

This is an Australian-made World War II patch for the Unites States Army Air Forces Headquarters. The oversized patch is wool felt with a black paper backing and shows a winged star at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-7/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads with paper backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

None.
