This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces survival guide. It covers what to do in emergencies encountered in the jungle, desert, the Arctic and in the ocean. Information ranges from practical advice on how to determine when to bail out of a disabled aircraft to instructions hopefully never used on how to trap a monkey.

SIZE:174 black and white pages with illustrations; approximately 5-1/2" in height and 4-1/4" in width and 1/2" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Heavy stock cover, paper.
ATTACHMENT:Glued binding.
MARKINGS:OFFICE OF FLYING SAFETY SAFETY EDUCATION DIVISION; some penciled handwriting on cover (GILBERT S-? Phi Kappa Tau symbols) and inside cover.
