WWII USAAF C-1 Survival Vest Match Safe in Bakelite by Taylor

This is a circa World War II United States Army Air Forces C-1 survival vest waterproof match safe with integral compass in brown Bakelite. The piece is by Taylor and would be great for display with your C-1 survival vest (compass does not appear to work any longer).

Circa World War II.

Approximately 3-1/8" in length and 1-1/8" in diameter (at compass end).

Bakelite, metal.

Screw-on cap.

"1" inside; "US" on bottom.
