ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 5th Air Force "thin five, small star" variant patch. The patch is well used and shows a shooting star passing a number 5.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 2-11/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT:

None.
