This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 5th Air Force "thick five, large star" variant patch. The patch is moderately used and shows a shooting star passing a number 5.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
