ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 5th Air Force shoulder patch in the "e;thin 5, small star"e; variant. The patch is unworn and shows a shooting star passing a number 5.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 2-3/4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.
