ARTIFACT: This is a chenille patch for the United States Army Air Forces 588th Bomber Squadron, 395th Bomber Group, 2nd Air Force. This squadron flew B-17 aircraft and the patch shows a fully-outfitted beaver riding a missile through the sky.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 5" diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chenille patch with felt backing.
