ARTIFACT:

This is a United States Army Air Forces patch from the 544th Bomb Squadron, 384th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. The patch reads KEEP THE SHOW ON THE ROAD.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 4-3/4" in width by 5" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton thread and chenille with vinyl backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS:

AKRON FELT & CHENILLE 60-1/2 EAST MARKET STREET AKRON 8 OHIO.
