ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 546th Bomb Squadron, 384th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force jacket patch made in the United Kingdom. The patch shows a pilot riding the back of a golden eagle.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 5" wide by 5" high.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Embroidery on wool, burlap backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto a garment.
