ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Navy "Donald Duck" cap. It comes with a photo of the original owner wearing it. This sailor was a yeoman who apparently from North Dakota, as the photo was taken at a Fargo studio.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximate size 7 1-/2 (no tag).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool, silk with tinsel embroidery, cotton, leather, photograph, cardboard.

ATTACHMENT: None; photo is mounted in folder envelope.

MARKINGS: None; SCHERLING OF FARGO on photo matting and some minor writing in pencil on photo folder cardboard (not on same piece as where photo is mounted).

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The cap has only some light wear and is somewhat creased from storage.
