Description
This is a World War II United States Navy "Donald Duck" cap. It comes with a photo of the original owner wearing it. This sailor was a yeoman who apparently from North Dakota, as the photo was taken at a Fargo studio.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximate size 7 1-/2 (no tag).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool, silk with tinsel embroidery, cotton, leather, photograph, cardboard.
ATTACHMENT:None; photo is mounted in folder envelope.
MARKINGS:None; SCHERLING OF FARGO on photo matting and some minor writing in pencil on photo folder cardboard (not on same piece as where photo is mounted).
