This is a scarce World War II United States Maritime Service "Donald Duck" sailor's cap. The hat band ribbon is embroidered with the letters USMS in gold tinsel thread. The cap was made by Rowe Wharf Haberdasher of Boston, Massachusetts.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Size 7-1/8.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, wool, silk, tinsel embroidery, clear plastic.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:7 1/8; ROWES WHARF HABERDASHER 356 ATLANTIC AVE. BOSTON MASS.
